The Opportunity
As a member of the Business Development Team, the Technical BDM Co-op will play a key role in coordinating technical inputs, calculation data, and application requirements for energy projects in the Industrial and Commercial sectors.
This role requires strong STEM capabilities to navigate evolving technologies and diverse project requirements. If you are motivated, analytical, and enjoy problem-solving, this is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a rapidly growing industry.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Development Team to advance energy efficiency projects
- Track and optimize efficiency opportunities in the Central Information System (CIS)
- Source, manage, and report on technical information for project development
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation flow
- Provide input to improve processes and best practices
- Perform other related duties as needed
What Will Help You Succeed
- Strong understanding of energy-based engineering projects
- Ability to work with new and emerging technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong time management and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of project financial analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with Salesforce (considered an asset)
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive
Education & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering/engineering technology
Working Conditions
- 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible work arrangements: in-person, hybrid, or fully remote
- Hourly wage: $22.00–$25.00/hour (based on co-op year)
