We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our Prince Edward Island Branch. In this role you will play a key role in supporting our human resources and organizational culture initiatives. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and implementing people-centric programs including, but not limited to, recruitment, workforce planning, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, employee relations etc.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related field is preferred i.e. Human Resources, Business Admin;
- 1+ years’ experience in HR or a related role;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels;
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems is a plus;
- A passion for creating a positive work environment and supporting employee well-being.

What will you be doing:
- You will coordinate the full cycle recruitment process through to completion of onboarding.
- You will coordinate learning and development programs including tracking of training.
- Assist with special projects, including active participation in short-term and long-term initiatives, as well as identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Act as a go to for employees for questions relating to P&C policies and process.
- Provide support for and champion P&C initiatives as they are rolled out within the company.
- Manage people & culture metrics and reporting.
