Scheduled for December 7th, 2024, this event aims to facilitate valuable one-on-one mentoring sessions across nine diverse industries, fostering professional development and networking opportunities. Through targeted mentorship, participants will gain insights into in-demand careers in Prince Edward Island, equipping them with the knowledge and connections necessary to navigate their career paths successfully.

Glen has served as Executive Director since 2021, advocating for accessibility and creating aligned programs. Previously, he spent 18 years in amateur sports administration. Passionate about soccer, Glen also serves on the board of Skills Canada PEI and lives in the greater Charlottetown area with his family.

Christina co-leads VOLUME18, a strategic communications firm helping organizations inspire change. With a Master’s in Environmental Legal Studies and a Bachelor of International Relations, she has shaped climate adaptation plans, program reviews, and strategic initiatives across PEI. Christina’s expertise bridges policy and practice to deliver impactful solutions.

Juan leads Ky Home Solution, specializing in home improvement and relocation services. With a Master’s in International Business, Juan combines global experience with customer-focused solutions. Fluent in five languages and having lived in seven countries, he brings unique perspectives to supporting newcomers in Canada.

General Manager, Construction Association of PEI

Since 2015, Sam has managed the Construction Association of PEI, representing the construction industry. A member of multiple advisory councils, including Net Zero and WCB PEI, Sam advocates for building standards and sustainability while guiding industry development in the region.

Dawn specializes in diverse dance styles, from Tap and Hip-Hop to Caribbean Movement. She has directed and performed in many productions, including at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. As Co-Creative Director of Xclusiv Crew, she actively diversifies the arts landscape in PEI, mentoring young artists and promoting inclusivity.

Executive Director, Community Legal Information

Ellen brings extensive experience in the non-profit sector and has worked as a teacher locally and abroad. She holds degrees in Arts and Education and a Conflict Resolution Certificate. Ellen’s leadership and management skills are reflected in her dedication to community-focused legal education.

Community Manager, RBC PEI

Kaye has spent 36 years with RBC, holding numerous leadership roles, and is currently the Community Manager for PEI. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University, an Executive MBA from UPEI, and a Financial Planning designation. Residing in Charlottetown, Kaye leads branch teams and focuses on community engagement.

Project Team Lead, Workplace Learning PEI

Jacob works as a Project Team Lead at Workplace Learning PEI, coordinating and facilitating programs aimed at upskilling workers. Originally from Berwick, Nova Scotia, Jacob moved to PEI in 2010. After earning his BA and BEd from UPEI, he taught in the public school system before transitioning to workforce education. Jacob enjoys family time, sports, and working in the forest in his spare time.
