The Graduate Mentorship Program (GMP)

The Graduate Mentorship Program (GMP) is an employment program that helps unemployed recent post-secondary graduates develop new skills and gain work experience in their field of study through on the job training.

A temporary wage subsidy (up to 50% for 52 weeks) is provided to an employer to create long-term employment opportunities and assist with the cost of hiring and training a new employee. At the end of the wage subsidy, the employee should be fully productive and contributing to the success of the business.
