We are looking for an exemplary Project Manager who will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of projects and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and requirements (technical, regulatory, and otherwise).
Key Responsibilities:
As a project manager, you will:
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, requirements and deliverables.
- Understand and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Develop strong relationships with clients. This involves ensuring client satisfaction, managing their expectations, and resolving issues quickly.
- Continually assess and document project issues and risks and execute on appropriate action/mitigation plans.
- Identify opportunities for Continuous Improvement, and document lessons learned.
- Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
- Manage client expectations, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion.
- Identify project risks, develop and implement migration and contingency plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or equivalent.
- 3 years of project management experience in the food processing industry.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Accreditation is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to approach technical problems from first principles.
- A keen understanding of business objectives, and the ability to adapt accordingly to dynamic timelines.
- Ability to travel to project sites in Canada and internationally as needed (up to 25%).
